Time for a change of mood.

 

Breakaway Theatre Company's next production will be a pair of short comedy plays: 'All By Myself' and 'All By Themselves', both written by Robert Scott.

 

Performances will be on Thursday 25th, Friday 26th and Sat 27th May, at Inn on the Park, Verulamium Park, St Michael's St, St Albans AL3 4SN.

 

Each play is 30-40 mins long.

 

Both are set on the same desert island where our subjects are marooned. Think silliness, misunderstandings and lots of sea/pirate related jokes!

 

Margie Skinner will be directing a cast of 6/7 (same characters/actors for each play). Roles are non gender/age specific and we welcome newcomers over 18 years of age, with or without acting experience.

We should be able to have a lot of fun with the presentation, props and minimal set , and intend to bring the park in late spring alive with warmth and laughter!

Tuesday 21st March at 19:30 - Small Hall, Fleetville Community Centre, Royal Road, St Albans AL1 4LQ

 

Thursday 23rd March at 19:30 - Bycullah Room, Fleetville Community Centre, as above

 

As we have a relatively short rehearsal time we will be aiming for 2-3 rehearsals a week, with rehearsals outside in Verulamium Park as soon as feasible, and possibly a couple of weekend rehearsals.
